Access to Mentoring
Joining will give you access to our bespoke mentoring system. You can search for your mentor of choice based on their skills, experience and availability, supporting a fully tailored experience exclusive to you.

We will manage the process and measure success, based on completion of the mentoring relationship and outcome of objectives agreed explicitly by and for you, giving you confidence that the experience will be exactly what you specify.

A mentor is defined in the Oxford Dictionary as an “experienced and trusted advisor”. Mentoring is about helping others develop in a positive way and more effectively. It is a relationship designed to build confidence and support the mentee so that they can take control of their own development and progress. It is trust-based and confidential and should help you to feel valued, represented, productive, self-fulfilled and rewarded;
  1. To grow personally and professionally
  2. To restructure or reprioritise your life
  3. To overcome obstacles and barriers
  4. To grow your career
  5. Mentoring is not the same as training, teaching or coaching
More details can be found on our Mentoring page

Access to Training
Our aim is to provide training for both mentors and mentees, to help you get the best out of your mentoring relationships, with free access to an on-line training programme, aimed both at mentors and mentees. We hope that as an organisation we will be providing the tools to train the mentors of the future. We also offer Experiential Training, currently on line, with plans to include training sessions in person when circumstances permit. The experiential training is paid for training and aimed mainly at existing and potential mentors, so mentees are welcome.

Training is live now, take a look and sign up for some training to improve your skills.
Sessions are offered throughout the year so you will have the chance to choose a time that best suits your needs.

On-site training is also be available to organisations, and can be designed to suit your needs. So if you are going to use Mentors for Women to fulfil your mentoring needs, or if you are running your own internal mentoring programme please talk to us about how we can tailor a training package for you.

All our training is open to non members as well, at the non member rate.

Mentoring Fees

The fee paid for mentoring will depend on the experience and skills of the mentor you chose, and agreed at the outset, to cover the full Mentoring process:
  1. All mentors create a profile detailing their skills, experience, and availability. From these you identify those attributes important to you and are presented with mentor profiles that match
  2. You can opt to have a short chat to up to three mentors before making a decision on your preferred partner
  3. You then enter into a formal Mentoring Relationship, for THREE meetings with your mentor to fulfil your agreed objectives
  4. Mentors for Women provide support throughout should there be any issues, for both of you
  5. Training is provided to set your expectations about the mentoring relationship
  6. Some mentors work at a range of levels and will therefore agree the hourly rate they will work with you for
  7. Fees are paid in advance and Mentors for Women pay the mentor after each meeting

Mentor Level One £80 per hour
Mentor Level Two £125 per hour
Mentor Level Three £250 per hour
Mentor Level Four £400 per hour
